Best of 2003

Speaking of Rufus Wainwright, I’ve finally posted my 10 best records of 2003. I know it’s mid-February and you’re supposed to get these things done in early January, but I’m just glad to have finished it.r

Putting together a best of list is no easy feat. First off, you have to have listened multiple times to at least 10 records from the past year, and that alone is no easy task for those of us who are not paid to listen to music for a living. Then you have to write up a little blurb, and no matter how hard I try, it’s almost impossible not to sound like a record reviewer wannabe.r
