According to the article, the following groups have been given exeptions.r

  • long-distance phone companies
  • airlinesr
  • banks and credit unions

    • r

  • insurance companies

    • r

  • charities

    • r

  • telephone surveyors

    • r

  • political organizations

    • r

  • and finally, any company that already has an existing business relationship with you

    If you register today, the list won’t take effect for you until October 1st. It will be interesting to see how many calls are actually blocked.
